If you been searching for a solid ANC earbuds under mid budget, the new JBL Tune Buds 2 might honestly surprise you. I wasn’t expecting too much at first, but after checking the features and user feedback, it feels like JBL really tried to give more than usual here.

First thing, the 48 hours total playtime is kind of crazy for daily use. Even with ANC on, you still get long hours without running to charge every time. For office, travel, or even just long Netflix nights, it just works. And yes, the Active Noise Cancellation is actually decent. It won’t compete with super premium models like Sony WF-1000XM5, but for the price range, it blocks traffic noise and background chatter pretty well. Not perfect, but very usable.

I really like the 6 mic setup for calls. Voices sound clear, and it reduces outside noise when you are talking. If you attend many meetings or calls, this matters more than bass honestly.

Talking about sound, JBL’s signature tuning is there. Punchy bass. Clean vocals. And with Personi-Fi 3.0 and custom EQ in the JBL Headphones app, you can tweak it the way you like. Some people prefer heavy bass, some want more vocals. It’s flexible.

The Spatial Sound feature gives wider feel, especially while watching movies. It’s not cinema-level magic, but it’s fun. And Ambient Aware mode is helpful when walking outside. You can hear traffic without removing buds.

Compared to the older JBL Tune Buds, the Tune Buds 2 improves in battery life, mic clarity, and personalization features. The older one was good, but this feels more refined and modern.
